Transfers & Eligibility 

Students who change secondary schools and wish to compete in SOSSA or OFSAA sports must receive transfer eligibility approval before participating. SOSSA follows the OFSAA Transfer Policy. Approval is not automatic, and students are ineligible to compete until written approval is granted.

Transfers & Eligibility

1. Complete the OFSAA Transfer Form (September 2025). All sections must be completed and signed.

2. Submit the application through the receiving school by the SOSSA deadline.

3. All appeals must be processed through the appropriate Zone first.

4. Transfer appeals are heard by SOSSA and a written decision is issued.

5. SOSSA decisions may be appealed to OFSAA. OFSAA decisions are final.
